Women must remember the sacred nature of our goddess self, our feminine essence and spiritual glory that lies within every woman and every man
WHAT does the word “goddess” evoke in you? Do you associate it with certain qualities of the divine female such as unconditional love, understanding and compassion?

The energy of the goddess resides in all of us. It is dormant in some and palpable and alive in others. The world is set up according to masculine models of thought and structure as it has been for thousands of years.

Domination, control and aggression are the usual headlines in our daily news.  We have given too much focus to the intellect, technology and rational analysis. We are constantly striving for bigger and better physical goals to satisfy our insatiable hunger.  We have ignored the feminine aspects of ourselves which encompasses our intuition, our connection with one another and with Mother Nature and our innate creativity.

Look at the state of our planet. Look at what our ignorance has caused us!  The war between genders is unnecessary. Men and women are biologically different so it does not bring any benefit if one gender dominates another.

Throughout history, one of the most insidious conspiracies has been perpetrated against women.  Women were considered as second class citizens, treated as commodities, powerful women were subjugated and burned at the stake as witches.

Most people think of Friday the 13th as a day of bad luck. In actual fact, Friday the 13th was the day the witches — wise women who expressed their truth and lived in their own way beyond the bounds of convention — gathered.

The patriarchal system, headed by the early church, began to extinguish the power of women by accusing them as witches so they can execute them en masse.

Friday the 13th was really a time for women to gather, share energy, pray together and heal.

We know that we are bearers of magic and that our circles of support are circles of mystical power. It is a woman’s prerogative to know of magic, to practice magic and to use her knowledge to help the world.

Superstitions aside, magic is merely the act of creating change by the force of one’s own will.

Changes can be created using the biochemistry of herbs and minerals, or through the power of thought and intention.

The scientific community is finally able to find solid evidence to back up what has been dismissed as hocus-pocus in the past.

Despite “history”, some women are able to rise above the complexities of society’s misunderstandings and fly high above the clouds.  For most women, the resistances they encounter were so great that they gave up trying.

Women are still trapped and crippled by fear. Some would like to have it all but are held back by the lack of self-worth or a support system, as well as by historical prejudice.  Others are afraid of asking for what they want, too afraid of losing love and respect if they expressed their true desires.  It is important that we first examine our inner lives before going out to conquer the outer world.

Many girls grow up without a functional understanding of their true nature. Girls are taught to be silent and obedient and are expected to hide their passionate nature so that they don’t appear as too “wild”.

Too much self-exploration is brought to a halt as we are told to behave.  Society sometimes denies us the necessary mess of self-expression and creativity.

In this world obsessed with security and safety, children especially girls are seldom allowed to explore alone and no longer permitted adventure which teaches through every bruise, fright and revelation.

Just as a culture loses its connection with nature, girls disconnected from their true nature grow into women detached from the basic cycles and tides of their hormones, appetites, talents and emotions.  We lose sense of our deep innate power, our life force humming silently within.

Let’s put fear aside and join hands to offer a passage of light to each other. We must listen to each other’s deepest desires and hold a sacred space for our true selves to arise.

The re-emergence of women will bring about the healing of the world. There needs to be an uprising of the glorious in women, because nothing can be healed without the female powers that nurture, protect, intuit and endure.

Women must remember the sacred nature of our goddess self, our feminine essence and spiritual glory that lies within every woman and every man.  A woman who has reclaimed her goddess self owns her passionate nature and allows love to flood her heart. Her thoughts grow wild and beautiful while her heart expands.

The actualised woman has a magnetic energy. Her sense of possibility and adventure is contagious.  She has glimpsed the enchanted kingdom, the vast and miraculous potential of the Goddess within her. All things are transformed and her life begins again.

We have all seen shining examples of women standing in their power, full of integrity and joy, aware and proud of it, and overflowing with love.

The goddess finds her way into the hearts and minds of millions of individual women and they change. When an idea reaches a critical mass, there is no stopping the shift its presence will induce.

It is time we acknowledge an unlimited reality, finding our true self like a free spirit exploring the extent of our potential, capable of loving without any inhibitions or fears.
