DECEMBER 21, 2012, signifies the end of a 260,000-year period and a 26,000 astronomical period. We are undergoing a double transformational leap for the first time in the history of our planet.

The ancients have already forecasted this major transition: Egyptian legends indicate that the end of 2012 signifies a planetary shift in consciousness while the Mayans prophesised that the energy coming in on that date will activate the kundalini force in individuals and the planet.

The winter solstice of 2012 marks the closing of a vast cycle of “history” and the entrance into a new world governed by different values. The Hopi Indians call it the passage from The Fourth World Age Of Destruction into The Fifth World Age Of Peace.

Instead of the 5,000-year linear, patriarchal reign we have been under which emphasises separation between spirit and matter, the new cycle is guided by masculine and feminine balance and the main highlight is harmony with nature.

Our solar system is moving into the photon belt which is filled with the light of creation.

As we move closer to this belt, we are reminded that we are created of the same light and that there is more to life than we think.

Humanity is clearly in a mess, resulting from the crisis in consciousness we are undergoing.

The light of the new cycle that is coming our way is purifying us — cleansing, preparing and guiding us to keep becoming conscious agents of positive change.

This steadily dawning light will reveal the wounds, imbalances and dysfunctional habits that have kept us locked in separation, fear, materialism, greed, scarcity, disempowerment and self-destruction.

We are at a pivotal point. Major changes are happening around us as we experience fluctuating weather conditions, depleting natural resources, violent political upheavals, the extinction of wildlife everywhere and failed economies.

These are signs that the world is severely out of balance. From deep inside our core, we know Earth can no longer support us if we refuse to awaken and transform.

Eckhart Tolle wrote in The New Earth, “When faced with a radical crisis, when the old way of being in the world, of interacting with each other and with the realm of nature doesn’t work anymore, when survival is being threatened by seemingly insurmountable problems, an individual life-form — or a species — will either die or become extinct or rise above the limitations of its condition through an evolutionary leap.”

Let’s not get distracted by asking “What will happen in 2012?” This prophecy is not about a pre-destined scenario. On the contrary, we are all collaborating in determining this answer as our shared journey unfolds moment by moment.

We are each co-creating our shared reality with our fellow brothers and sisters everywhere, and with the living intelligence of the Earth and the Universe. It is essential we comprehend the larger context of these times while focusing on the path in front of us. Each of us must hone our personal intuition, the purest source of guidance.

We are going through a planetary birthing process — an initiation as a global society into a new world cycle. Collectively, we are being challenged to let go of the old, unconscious ways of living to conscious ways of existing in harmony.

Our survival as a species depends on our awakening to our interconnectedness with all of life and learning how to respect this basic yet precious truth.

There is a rapidly growing percentage among us who are experiencing a breakup of old egoic mind patterns and the emergence of a new consciousness. We are being aligned to operate from our hearts and to heed our own inner calling. It is now impossible to live what is not truth to us. We are urged from within to be authentic at the level of our words, thoughts and actions.

Let us weed our minds of limiting beliefs, nurture our dreams and feed the growth of our creativity. As each one of us evolves consciously, so does everything else. The energy of our mass consciousness harmonises into perfect resonance, we will become spontaneously attuned to greater awareness.

Purification is crucial as we start to be mindful of the foods we put into our systems, questioning the beliefs on which we create our realities and transforming the negative emotions we have held on to for so long. It is time we find out who we truly are and what we are here to do!

Transformation is the name of the game!
